General Questions

Q: What services do you offer?

A: We specialize in Cerakote® ceramic coatings, gunsmithing services, and customization for firearms, knives, drinkware, automotive/ motorcycle parts, golf clubs, and more.

Q: Do you only work on firearms?

A: No! While we specialize in firearms, we also customize knives, tumblers, automotive/ motorcycle parts, golf clubs, and other items. If you are unsure if we can coat it, just ask.

Q: Where are you located?

A: We are based in northwest/ north central Ohio. However, we are a mail-in based business, so we can offer services individuals living or businesses located anywhere in the United States. Customers ship items to us, we complete the work, and then ship them back directly to you with tracking.

Q: What is the process for a mail in order?

A: Once you select your services and approve the quote, we’ll send you a finalized invoice along with detailed shipping instructions to ensure safe and smooth delivery.

You can choose the method that works best for you:

  • Ship directly to us (via UPS): You cover the shipping cost.

  • Ship through a local Gun Store / FFL Holder: Your local FFL can handle the transfer and shipping. You’re responsible for their service fee (if any) and shipping costs.

  • Drop off / pick up in person: Local customers can deliver and retrieve items directly from our shop.

We’ll keep you updated throughout the process and send tracking details once your item is on its way back.

Orders and Payments

Q: How do I place an order?

A: Orders can be placed directly through our website. Simply choose your service, and request a quote, and we will be in touch with you!

 

Q: What payment methods do you accept?

A: We accept payments through Intuit Quickbooks, which includes major credit/ debit cards, ACH Bank Transfers, Apple Pay, PayPal, and Venmo!

 

Q: Can I cancel my order?

A: Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of purchase if work has not yet started. After that time, cancellations may not be eligible for a refund.

Shipping

Q: How do I ship my firearm to you?

A: All firearms must be unloaded and securely packaged. Customers are responsible for following all of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives' (ATF) requirements and carrier regulations when shipping firearms. We recommend using a trackable, insured service for your protection. We will send more information on shipping upon receipt of payment.

Q: Do you ship internationally?

A: No. At this time, we only ship within the United States.

Q: Who pays for shipping?

A: Customers are responsible for shipping items, pickup/ drop off can be arranged for no cost alternative.

Turnaround and Services

Q: How long does it take to complete an order?

A: Turnaround time depends on the project size and complexity. Most jobs take between 7-10 days (not counting shipping time), but we will give you an estimate when you place your order.

 

Q: Can I request a custom color or pattern?

A: Absolutely. We consider ourselves fully customizable. We offer a wide range of colors and patterns, including camo, distressed, and themed designs. Custom patterns and designs often can be accommodated. Custom stencils and requests may add to turnaround time.

 

Q: What if I do not like the color once it is finished?

A: Because all work is custom, refunds are not available for personal preference. However, if we made an error in application, we will fix it.

Gunsmithing

Q: Do I need an FFL (Federal Firearms License) to send you my firearm?

A: No. Customers can legally ship their firearms to us for work and we can ship them back directly to you, as long as all of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives' (ATF) regulations are followed. If your local laws require otherwise, you are responsible for compliance.

 

Q: Can you make modifications to my firearm?

A: Yes, we offer certain gunsmithing services such as trigger installations, sight adjustments, custom builds, and more. However, we will not perform modifications that make firearms unsafe or non-compliant with federal, state, or local laws.

Care & Durability

Q: How durable is Cerakote?

A: Cerakote is one of the most durable firearm finishes available. It’s resistant to wear, corrosion, and chemicals, and offers superior protection compared to traditional bluing or paint.

 

Q: How should I care for my Cerakoted item?

A: Simply clean and maintain your item as you normally would. Avoid harsh abrasives or steel wool, which may scratch the finish.
